How do I order extra Wi-Fi units for better coverage in my house?
You can order an additional TP-Link Wi-Fi unit by filling in our request form Any extra units you order will be added to your next bill. We don’t offer a rental option for extra units.
You can use these extra units to set up a mesh system in your home. You’ll need either TP Link HX510 or TP Link X55 modem to set up a mesh system.
What is a mesh system?
A mesh system is designed to give you uninterrupted Wi-Fi throughout your home.
With a mesh system, you can connect multiple units throughout your house to get the best coverage. For example, if you have multiple floors you can have a unit on each floor to give best Wi-Fi coverage.
A traditional router sends Wi-Fi signal out from a single location. A mesh system sends out Wi-Fi from multiple locations.
Both our TP-Link HX510 and TP-Link H55s modems work on a mesh system. If you have a mesh modem you cannot have a VOIP phone service with us.
